Sac. Bee: Congressman outraises challenger.

(R-Gold River) took in more than $500,000 for his re-election campaign in the first three months of the year, outraising rival , an Elk Grove Democrat, The Sacramento Bee reported.

Lungren ended March with just under $900,000 on hand, according to a report filed with the Federal Election Commission, The Bee reported. Bera, whose filing has not yet appeared on the FEC website, said in a release issued earlier this month that he raised $366,000.
