Jim Baker and the November Ballot

Baker for Carmichael Water Board.

Yes, it's true!

Long time Carmichael resident and Carmichael Water Board advocate Jim Baker will be on the November ballot in 2012 seeking a spot on the Carmichael Water Board.

"I'm going to do my job.  I plan on making some changes on how we address our ratepayers," said Baker.

I first learned of Jim Baker at a Tea-Party meeting held at last March.  At the meeting, Baker informed the crowd about the problems, incompetence, and poor money management of the Carmichael Water Board.

Being a Carmichael resident myself, I thought it best to see if Baker's claims were founded in truth. In just one meeting, I determined that not only was he revealing the inadequacies of the Water Board's management of money, but also the indifferent approach that the board has toward the ratepayers' concerns.

Baker knows and understands the regulations by which the Water Board must follow, probably even better than the current board does.  I've seen first hand how he addresses others with respect and consideration.  He truly cares about how Carmichael resident money is spent.

I think Baker is a outstanding choice for the . We need someone to follow through, be accountable, and take the necessary steps to guide a system polluted with carelessness.

To my readers, are you aware of how your local tax money is spent?

I am curious as to why it is vacant and fenced off.

*gasp!!* Tacky chain link fence? There go the property values! Chain link fence aroundRead More vacant/undeveloped land is usually an indicator of some County ordinance to secure the land for public safety. I'd buy the land and for the pure entertainment factor put mock working oil pump jacks on the land. Just to see what people do. :-p

Thanks for the kind words Josh and for doing a good job of taking over Carmichael among other PatchRead More towns. I'll always remember promoting Patch around the area and the weird looks we/you got out at the multi-chamber mixer. Best of luck in Alaska and say hi to the eskimos for me.
