Carmichael Bible Church Now Crossroads Church
Members wanted new name for church at Fair Oaks and Grant.
In case you were wondering if the church at Fair Oaks Boulevard and Grant Avenue in Carmichael had new leadership, it only has a new name.
The former is now . The process to change the name began about 4.5 years ago, said Curt Pearson, a teaching pastor at Crossroads.
A meeting was held to become a non-profit organization, Pearson said.

"It's a signal to the community...that we're heading in a new direction; it's what God wants us to be" he said. "Crossroads has two meanings for us: it's a key intersection of faith and life and we're literally at the intersection of Fair Oaks Boulevard and Grant."
