County Animal Shelter and Local Vets Seek Donations for Animals

The facilities are seeking food, comfort, toys and miscellaneous pet care needs this holiday.

Local animal shelters and veterinarian clinics are teaming up this season to help find toys, bedding, food and other amenities for needy animals across Sacramento County.

The Sacramento County Animal Shelter will team up with El Camino Veterinary Hospital for a holiday donation drive with a wish list of items, including leashes, chew toys, collars, beds and more. 

The locations will be accepting donations till Dec. 21 from 12:30 p.m. till 4:30 p.m.

Those interested in making a drop-off can do so at the shelter or veterinary at the following locations:

  1. Sacramento County Animal Care and Regulation, 3839 Bradshaw Road, Sacramento
  2. El Camino Veterinary Hospital,4000 El Camino Avenue,  Sacramento

Chain link fence aroundRead More vacant/undeveloped land is usually an indicator of some County ordinance to secure the land for public safety. I'd buy the land and for the pure entertainment factor put mock working oil pump jacks on the land. Just to see what people do. :-p

Thanks for the kind words Josh and for doing a good job of taking over Carmichael among other PatchRead More towns. I'll always remember promoting Patch around the area and the weird looks we/you got out at the multi-chamber mixer. Best of luck in Alaska and say hi to the eskimos for me.
