Rooster Call 7/5: Storytime, Journaling, Blues

Discover what's happening in Fair Oaks quickly and be on your way.

Did you get any sleep last night? We're personally pretty exhausted from the sound of exploding neighborhood fireworks and ready to start July off fresh. If you spent too much money this weekend, that's no problem. Events going on in Fair Oaks today are free!
Parents of toddlers are invited to bring them to the Fair Oaks Library at 11 a.m. for a half-hour of stories, songs and rhymes.

Get creative at the Orangevale Library and make your very own art journal using fabric, stencils, pens, stamps and more. All materials will be provided -- what a nice way to take a break from the summer heat!

Summertime blues kicking in, you say? Beat the funk by going to the San Juan Club for blues music every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday starting at 7 p.m. There's no cover charge.
