Rooster Call 8/11: Bingo, Felt Creations, Concert in the Park

We've made it over the “hump” and Friday's right around the corner, but don’t get so excited about the weekend that you forget about today – today has the makings of a great day.

Charity Bingo

Love bingo and helping others? Well, today’s your day. Madison Mall Bingo has two games today with proceeds from each game going to a different charity. The Matinee bingo game from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. will benefit Sunset No-Al Club, a local alano club, while the night game from 6 to 11 p.m. will benefit the . Both games will be held at .

Felt Creatures

Hey teens, feel like creating your own furry critters? How about monsters? Here’s your chance. All teens are invited to the Orangevale Library from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. to create creatures of any kind out of felt. All materials will be provided, teens are just asked to bring their imaginations. Concert in the Park 

As the night cools down, make sure to stay warm by dancing along to the popular grooves of the John Skinner Dance Band. As part of the Concerts in the Park series brought to you by the , this free show will go from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Fair Oaks Village Park located at 4238 Main St. and is open to all. Guests are invited to pack their own picnics or enjoy food and beverages available for purchase onsite.
