Best Thrift Store in Carmichael? Nominate Your Favorite

Tell us which thrift store is your favorite. We're taking nominations before voting starts for our re-vamped Readers' Choice contest.

Carmichael has a few thrift stores in town, but which is the best?

What makes it your favorite? Maybe it's the selection or the friendly staff, or maybe the great deals.

We want to know which thrift store is the best for our 2012 Readers' Choice contest.

Nominate your favorite thrift store in the comment section below. Here are a few suggestions to get the ball rolling:

Patch is relaunching its Readers’ Choice contest and we’re asking you, your friends, family, neighbors, coworkers and anyone else who knows the most about Carmichael to nominate the best spots in Carmichael Patch.

We’ll keep accepting nominations through July 9. After that, nominations will be closed and we’ll start the voting, so make sure to get in your favorites now.

All you need to do to nominate a business is to add it in the comments below. If you already see the business you want to nominate, make sure to add your comment about why it should be included, because we may not be able to add all businesses to our poll and we want to make sure the top ones make it into the poll.

Thrift town has by far the largest selections, the best quality and best prices.

yes! thrift town on the corner of marconi and fair oaks is the best! Here is the reason why: The first time I went there, I looked through the suits. I found a nice suit that fit perfectly...literally...it had been taillored before and fit me perfectly. It was also three piece and of the highest quality. The suit was 10 dollars, but they had a coupon and I got it for 8...now why would me getting a suit from there make it a the best? That was no ordinary suit, that was a vintage YVES SAINT LAURENT!!!!! If you are not familiar with him, he is a famous fashion designer and it is a fashion house...that suit would have easily been a few thousand dollars new and was in mint condition. GREATEST FIND!

Its a toss up for me. I think Goodwill has the best prices on the things I look for and their staff is always friendly but I also support the Carmichael Parks Thrift Store because it is putting the money it makes into our local community.
