Welcome back to the workweek, Carmichael & Fair Oaks! For those looking to formally return to it, find some supplemental work or just find a change of pace, here's a look at some of the available job positions right here in town.   

This week has a short sweet line up of some great local and work at home opportunities. Are you a hot female nerd? Try your feminine skills as an on call remote tech support helping customers nurse their computer back to health. Check N’ Go will be hosting their own hiring event coming up in a few weeks, so make sure to prep. Just wanting some extra cash? If Gout is an issue, you can earn some greenbacks by participating in their healing treatments.

Where: 4141 Manzanita Ave, Suite 135, Carmichael. 
When:  Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2012 from 10:30 a.m. till 5:00 p.m. 
Position: Store manager 
Duties: Daily operations, customer verifications, open/close of store and other leadership duties. 
Requirements: High school diploma, AA or secondary preferred; 3 years customer service, 1 year leadership, 1 year financial experience, good communication skills, Microsoft Office, multi task, valid driver’s license and own a personal reliable vehicle.

Position: Customer service representative 
Duties: Greet customers, provide financial transactions.    
Requirements: High school diploma or GED (AA preferred), one year customer service, one year cash handling, excellent organizational skills, multi task, valid driver’s license and own a personal reliable vehicle.

Gout Study Trial 
Position: Participant 
Duties: Participate (if qualified) in gout research study. 
Requirements: Previous diagnosed with gout and willing to take treatment daily.

Position: Dishwasher 
Duties: Ensure all dishes, pots, pans and the kitchen is clean. 
Requirements: Must have current or previous experience.

Position: Route developer/sales 
Duties: Drive company vehicle and obtain residential accounts. 
Requirements: Minimum high school graduate and a clean driving record.

BC Cab 
Position(s): Taxi cab driver (must know the Carmichael area) 
Duties: Transport customers to or from desired destinations. 
Requirements: No experience necessary (will fully train). Valid driver’s license, clean DMV record, at least 25 years of age, able to pass Sacramento police department background check and drug test in order to obtain taxi permit. 
Compensation: $500 per week (after lease and gas).

Carmichael Recreation & Park District 
Position: Van driver 
Duties: Provide transportation assistance for the after school children’s program. 
Requirements: Must have a Class B license with passenger endorsement; able to work with children, able to work scheduled hours, good communication skills, good decision making skills, be a positive role model and able to pass a fingerprint, drug and TB test prior to employment. 
Compensation: $10.50 - $11.58 per hour with step increases.

Computer Repair Service (Private) 
Position: On call remote tech support services (work at home) 
Duties: Provide remote tech support and computer repair services for new startup company. 
Requirements: Female nerds only apply. This is women staff based only. Current or previous experience (or good knowledge of troubleshooting), home based workstation with 2 monitors, flexible hours, cell phone, hardwired internet connection and most importantly must have extreme customer service experience (like helping grandma type nicety). 
Compensation: TBD (to start, this will only be on call till more assignments are scheduled).

Duties: Contact residential and business clients to obtain sales subscriptions or one-time services. 
Requirements: Female nerds only apply. This is a woman staff based only. Must have excellent phone skills, at least 2 years of selling over the phone, a go getter, an absolute fabulous attitude, home based work station, a local phone connection, good internet connection and most importantly must have extreme customer service experience (like helping grandma type nicety).
