Super Bowl XLV is only a few days away and although many Carmichael residents are content to enjoy the game from the comfort of their own homes, plenty will be venturing out to local sports bars for some cold beer on tap and to enjoy other drink specials and good food.
First on the list is the Clubhouse Bar and Grill and with a staggering 15 flat screen TVs, you won't miss a single play. Pitchers of ice cold domestic beer will be only $6 and there will be a great buffet and a full bar with assorted drink specials throughout the day. Next up is the which has a big day planned for the Pittsburgh Steelers- Green Bay Packers main event. If you want to get a head start, get there early at 9:30 a.m. for a some breakfast and maybe a cup of hot coffee. There will be pre-game drink specials and while you wait for the game to kick off, play some shuffleboard or a game of pool.
The game will be broadcast on FOX with a pre-game show beginning at 11 a.m. hosted by Joe Buck and Troy Aikman. The actual game pitting quarterbacks Aaron Rodgers of Green Bay and Ben Roethlisberger of Pittsburgh begins about 3:30 p.m., with commercials you may be talking about the next day and a halftime show featuring the Black Eyed Peas.
