What Would You Like to See in Crestview Village Shopping Center?

The center was just purchased and changes may be in the Carmichael shopping center's future.

Changes may be in store for the Crestview Village shopping center in Carmichael.

According to the Sacramento Business Journal, the center was recently sold for about $20 million.

The center, located at Manzanita Avenue and Winding Way in Carmichael, is currently home to Save Mart, Famous Footwear, Ross, Big 5 Sporting Goods and Hallmark.

Plans for the center include trying to bring in more eateries, like a coffeeshop, a new paint job and other upgrades, according to the SBJ. The development company plans to spend millions of dollars on upgrades, they told the SBJ.

The center is almost fully occupied, but there are a few vacancies.

Carmichael residents: What businesses would you like to see in this shopping center? A restaurant? Coffee shop? Something else? Tell us in the comment section below.

Lets bring some class back to carmichael. Get rid of savemart and bring in whole foods or nugget In the restaurant space bring in a California pizza kitchen or Mikuni or Dave and busters...also a party city would be nice and a good ice cream shop.

A couple people added suggestions on our Facebook page too. One suggested a Pinkberry. Another suggested Jamba Juice and Noah's Bagels. https://www.facebook.com/FairOaksCarmichaelCAPatch

Redesign the parking lot, ditch the big 5, and put in a decent family food place along the lines of a Pasquale's or Felipe's.

A Jamba Juice on this end of town would be a great idea. Maybe a Cold Stone or other premium ice cream/treat store. Just please not another Starbucks!

I would like to see a nice restaurant that does not serve fast food or pizza. It would be great to get a well prepared steak, chicken, or fish dinner.

I happen to love shopping at Save-Mart. I agree that I would eat at a Mikuni restaurant. A retailer that carries more men's clothing would also be appreciated. A chain drug store would do well there.

I agree that a Trader Joe's and Jamba Juice or Pinkberry are overdue as well as a locally owned restaurant or two.

Sprouts or whole foods. Nice family dinning. Noah's bagels/ jamba juice. Fun breakfast place. A place a family can ride to on the weekend and have some options.

Hmmmmm... guess some of these people are too young to remember that there USED to be a Thirfty drug store (where the savemart is now), plus there USED to be a baskins-robbins store, and there is already a small restaurent there!!!

Winco foods would be great or Texas roadhouse.

A Chinese restaurant with actual Chinese people making the food. A restaurant that doesn't consider itself "open late" on weekends by moving its closing time from 9 pm to 9:30 pm. A downsized Best Buy. Sprouts. A brew pub with occasional live music.
