This week’s job search features our Mission Oaks Recreation and Parks District who is still continuously seeking to fill its summer positions, Mercy San Juan Medical Center, local ZAD Salon and not to mention tax preparation giant, H&R Block, is currently training those who wish to become tax preparers.
1.
Position: After school program recreational leaders/substitutes

Duties: Work in the Bridges After School program (elementary and middle school students) for the for the 2011-12 school year. In addition, will provide academic support and recreation activities for students and perform miscellaneous related duties.
Requirements: Able to lead groups of children in homework assistance, learning centers and recreation activities, facilitate age appropriate and safe group activities, team player, competent in basic academics (reading, writing, math, spelling and language) and meet SJUSD proficiency requirements.

Compensation: $8.25 - $8.50 per hour.
Scheduled Hours: Mon – Fri, 2 – 6:15 p.m.; Thurs, 12:30 – 6:15 p.m. Employees will likely start the second to third week in August. Hiring will take place immediately so that employees can complete fingerprinting, TB, proficiency requirements and other new hire paperwork before training begins.

Position: Administrative nursing supervisor
Duties: Accountable for the supervision, coordination of hospital staff in the absence of administration and management.
Requirements: Must have a California RN licensure, minimum of five years clinical nursing experience, two years nursing supervisor experience working in a very busy hospital setting preferred and a current BLS & ACLS, PALS and BSN preferred.
Compensation: Depends on Experience plus benefits.
Position: Clinical lab scientist
Duties: Please inquire with administration.
Requirements: Valid California Lab Scientist Licensure, proficient in the general lab and blood bank departments, in addition, troubleshoots and performs PMs on analyzers.
Compensation: DOE plus benefits.
Position: Pharmacist
Duties: Reviews all medication orders and provides drug information.
Requirements: Must have experience working as a hospital emergency department pharmacist and USP 797 clean room environment, in addition, minimum 1 year hospital experience required.

Position: Registered nurse

Requirements: CA RN licensure, BLS, ACLS, minimum 1 year and current critical care RN experience and neuroscience experience preferred.

Position: Nail technician
Duties: Rejuvenate clientele, product sales and customer satisfaction.
Requirements: Experience in a salon atmosphere.

Position: Client services representative
Duties: Work with clients, multi-task and assist doctors with various duties.
Requirements: Must be able to stand on your feet and move at a fast pace for several hours. Veterinary experience and medical terminology is a plus.

Position: Delivery driver
Duties: Conduct daily inspections of vehicles, safe operation of delivery vehicle, assist in field marketing, document vehicle movement on route sheets, perform routine service calls, assist in customer returns and assist in maintaining the showroom.
Requirements: A valid California drivers license, at least 21 years old for insurance purposes and no more than three tickets in the last three years.
Compensation: DOE (hourly).
Position: Manager trainee
Duties: Customer maintenance, customer counseling, renewal payments, leasing options and purchases, customer accounts and other detailed managerial duties.
Requirements: Lifting, loading, customer service, driving skills, phone etiquette and pre-employment drug screening.

Position: Tax preparer (training)
Duties: Provide tax preparation services to clients and businesses.
Requirements: Successfully complete the H&R Block income tax course.
