The Sacramento region's professional basketball team has been the subject of and criticism lately, but it will receive attention from another group of people Monday: job seekers.
The Sacramento Kings are looking to hire more than 10 sales employees, and will hold a hiring fair from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday at Power Balance Pavilion in Natomas. Interested job-hunters are encouraged to drop off resumes in person to the arena's box office, 1 Sports Parkway in Sacramento.
According to a press release, these are the areas where the team is looking to hire:
- Ticket Sales Associate: Entry level position includes 10 month sales training program for individuals seeking a career in high-level ticket sales.
- Ticket Sales Specialist: Full-time ticket sales position for candidates with extensive sales backgrounds or ticket sales experience.
- Group Ticket Intern: Part-time paid internship with hands-on training for applicants looking to begin a career in ticket sales.
- Business Development Manager: Responsible for selling corporate partnerships, full license suites, partial suite plans, individual suite night rentals and premium season tickets.
