Who's Hiring: Sacramento Kings to Hold Job Fair Monday

The NBA team is looking to hire more than 10 people.

The Sacramento region's professional basketball team has been the subject of and criticism lately, but it will receive attention from another group of people Monday: job seekers.

The Sacramento Kings are looking to hire more than 10 sales employees, and will hold a hiring fair from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday at Power Balance Pavilion in Natomas. Interested job-hunters are encouraged to drop off resumes in person to the arena's box office, 1 Sports Parkway in Sacramento.

According to a press release, these are the areas where the team is looking to hire:

  • Ticket Sales Associate: Entry level position includes 10 month sales training program for individuals seeking a career in high-level ticket sales.
  • Ticket Sales Specialist: Full-time ticket sales position for candidates with extensive sales backgrounds or ticket sales experience.
  • Group Ticket Intern: Part-time paid internship with hands-on training for applicants looking to begin a career in ticket sales.  
  • Business Development Manager: Responsible for selling corporate partnerships, full license suites, partial suite plans, individual suite night rentals and premium season tickets.

Chain link fence aroundRead More vacant/undeveloped land is usually an indicator of some County ordinance to secure the land for public safety. I'd buy the land and for the pure entertainment factor put mock working oil pump jacks on the land. Just to see what people do. :-p

Thanks for the kind words Josh and for doing a good job of taking over Carmichael among other PatchRead More towns. I'll always remember promoting Patch around the area and the weird looks we/you got out at the multi-chamber mixer. Best of luck in Alaska and say hi to the eskimos for me.
