Rocklin Firm Wins Engineering Excellence Award

Sacramento, CA – Stantec Consulting Services, Inc. of Rocklin has received an Honor Award from the American Council of Engineering Companies of California (ACECCA) for their work on the Merced WWTF Phase V Solids Handling & Upgrade in Merced, CA.

This project, one of many that Stantec has successfully completed for the City of Merced, eliminates groundwater pollution by replacing unlined solids drying beds with the largest active solar dryer in North America. The facility creates Class-A biosolids, which are used to fertilize City-owned crops, generating over $100,000 annually for the City of Merced.
