Carmichael Portion of Madison Avenue Closed Through the Week

Sewer repairs along a short portion of Madison Avenue will keep lanes closed throughout the week.

Expect the number-three eastbound lane of Madison Avenue between Manzanita Ave. and Schuyler Drive will to remain closed between Oct. 31 and Nov 1 from 8 a.m. till 3:30 p.m.

The reason simply boils down to sewer line repairs and maintenance along the 700 feet of road, said Sacramento Sewer District spokesman Evens Mends.

Mends suggests those who frequent that portion of Madison to use Arden Way to the Northand Fulton Ave. to the East.

Chain link fence around…Read More vacant/undeveloped land is usually an indicator of some County ordinance to secure the land for public safety. I'd buy the land and for the pure entertainment factor put mock working oil pump jacks on the land. Just to see what people do. :-p
