How Did 9/11 Impact Your Life?

This September marks the 10-year anniversary of 9/11, and Fair Oaks Patch wants to invite locals to share their stories with us.

How has your life changed in the last decade?

Whether you have a connection to New York City, the World Trade Center, the Pentagon or any other aspect of the day's events; did you join the military after 9/11, or do you perceive the world in a different way? Do you take precautionary measures now concerned about more attacks, or re-evaluated your life and changed direction in the wake of 9/11? Or do you believe we need to press forward and put the past behind us?

In the coming weeks, we hope to highlight some of our unique stories as we draw closer to the anniversary of that fateful day. We hope to hear from you and would be honored to help tell your stories.
