Rise and Shine: What's Happening 9/28
Kiwanis meeting, Schweitzer Elementary Book Fair and HS sports.
1. The meets each Wednesday at 7 a.m. at the Elks Lodge at 5631 Cypress Ave. in Carmichael. Come find out about all the wonderful things the Kiwanis Club of Carmichael is up to.
2. Parents of kids are invited to come out and buy a book or two at the student at 3 p.m., which benefits the school education and technology departments.
3. In high school sports, two of the area's top girls volleyball teams meet when hosts . Carmichael Patch will be there so check back Thursday for a recap and photos. The is at at 6:30 p.m. El Camino's boys water polo team hosts Whitney of Rocklin at 4:45 p.m. The girls play at 5:45 p.m. Check back later for an article on the El Camino teams. Mira Loma's water polo team hosts Antelope.
