Rise and Shine: What's Happening 9/7

5. In a busy day for high school sports, the team opens its season at home against at 5:45 p.m. El Camino is 2-0 this season with wins over Bella Vista of Fair Oaks and Christian Brothers. The Raider boys water polo team takes on the Eagles boys at 4:45 p.m. The El Camino boys opened their season Sept. 1 with an 18-6 win at Woodcreek of Roseville. The El Camino boys soccer team plays at Folsom at 4 p.m.  The Eagles are 4-0 with wins over Inderkum. Rosemont, Burbank and Center. The Mira Loma boys soccer team plays at Center of Antelope. The Matadors opened their season Aug. 30 with a 2-0 loss at River Valley of Yuba City. 's girls volleyball team hosts Foresthill at 6 p.m. MLHS is 2-1 on the season, with wins over Natomas and Foothill and a loss to Sheldon. Check back later this week for story on the Mira Loma girls.
