This weekend's offerings are chock full of good things like Easter activities, worship and recreation. Take the family out for a fun-filled morning at Carmichael Park for pancakes and an egg hunt. Prefer something different? The library has two interesting offerings that will keep your green thumb fresh and teach your grade school youngster the value of volunteering. These are just three of the five exciting suggestions we've lined up for your entertainment. Have a Happy Easter and a memorable Passover.

Why Go?: Do you have a child younger than 13 who needs to earn community service credit for school? Send him/her to the library for a brief training session and some hands-on, same-day experience. Pick up an application in the branch at the service desk; children under 10 must bring a parent or guardian.

2. Easter Egg Hunt and Pancake Breakfast

Why Go: Your kids will go nuts with excitement at this fun-filled annual family event, put on by the and . There's no better way to work off that carbolicious breakfast than to join in the free Easter Egg hunt for all ages—don't forget your basket!

Why Go: Come on out and enjoy the Traditional Service with hymns and choral accompaniment this Easter Sunday. Say hello to your neighbors and get ready to be moved by the sermon and music.

5. Family Integrated Worship Celebration
Where/When: , Sunday at 10:30 a.m.
Why Go: Put on your Sunday best and listen to Pastor Mike Fraga's message of love and "the power of the gospel" with your contemporaries at this nondenominational Christian church. Everyone is welcome and nursery care is available if necessary.
