Two Carmichael area schools qualified for the football playoffs.
In Division I, No. 14-seeded (5-5) goes on the road to face No. 3 Bethel (9-1) at 7 p.m. at Vallejo High School.
In Division II, No. 9 (7-3) heads to Modesto to face No. 8. Downey (8-2) in an early 1 p.m. contest.

The team will play for the school's 100th Section Championship after defeating West of Tracy 5-0 on Thursday. Kaba Alkebulan scored the first goal on an assist by Miguel DeSousa. The second goal came off a corner kick and was scored by John Bovill on an assist from Carlos Murillo. The third goal was Alkebulan again on an assist from Tucker Bone. The fourth goal was DeSousa on a cross from Stevie Guzman. The fifth goal was scored by Riley Harbour. The championship is a rematch against and is at Cosumnes Oaks High School at 6 p.m.
