When Does Daylight Saving Time End in 2012?

These dark mornings will have you wondering: When does Daylight Saving Time end?

Those 7:30 a.m. commutes are about to get a little brighter. Daylight Saving Time officially ends at 2 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 4.

Remember, you'll "fall back" by setting your clocks back one hour. Many electronic devices (smart phones, your computer) automatically adjust when Daylight Saving Time begins or ends.

When you change your clocks in the fall and spring, it’s also a good time to change smoke detector batteries and check to make sure other devices are in working order.

Take the extra hour to grab an early coffee at Bella Bru Cafe or the Fair Oaks Coffee House & Deli. If there's time, maybe even take an early morning stroll along the bluffs overlooking the American River. The mornings this time of year can be pretty remarkable.

Arizona, Puerto Rico, Hawaii, U.S. Virgin Islands and American Samoa do not observe Daylight Saving Time.
