Carmichael Canine Corral has a long history, opening in October 2000.   We serve Carmichael and many surrounding communities by providing a secure, clean, well-maintained area where dogs can safely play off-leash.   After a decade plus of very heavy, continuous use, the enclosure needs vital infrastructure improvements (phase 1), followed by further upgrading for health, safety, and comfort of dogs and their companions.  Dogs cannot attend the park alone, they must be  accompanied by their owners, and are required to have current vaccinations and licensing.   The dog park is staffed solely by volunteers and receives no funding from city, county, or park district sources.   It is operated under agreement with Carmichael Recreation and Park District.   Payment of yearly dues allows members to have a voice in how things are run as well as providing funding for supplies for waste removal, maintenance, and operating expenses.   Funds for improvements and upgrades comes from fundraising activities.

We’ve removed the ability to reply as we work to make improvements. Learn more here
