Feed the Hungry and Get Free Yogurt at Sacramento Region Yogurtland in November

 Yogurtland, the ever-popular quickly expanding self-serve frozen yogurt pioneer, will hold Food Drives for community food banks throughout the Sacramento Region during the month of November.  The food drives will be held at the Arden location located 2381 Fair Oaks Blvd., the Fair Oakslocation at 5335 Sunrise Blvd. and at Yogurtland Roseville at 3988 Douglas Blvd.  The cans and packaged goods gathered at the Arden location will be donated to the Sacramento Food Bank & Family Services , the Orangevale Food Bank from the Fair Oaks store and the Placer Food Bank from the Rosevillestore. 

Customers who donate 3 cans or packaged goods will receive 3 ounces free yogurt and will receive 5 ounces free with the donation of 5 cans or packaged goods.  The Fair Oakslocation will offer an additional promotion of 3 ounces free to anyone who brings a can in during the Ribbon cutting celebration scheduled for November 15th at 1 pm.  

Yogurtland, which recently entered the Sacramento region, is open in all three locations from Sunday thru Thursday from 11 am – 11 pm, and on Friday andSaturday until midnight.  “We are excited to be part of these communities and holding a Food Drive is another way we can continue to give back,” states owner Michael Burstein.  All three locations continues to support local schools and non-profits through fundraisers, auction items and incentive offers for achievement in academics and sports.  

At Yogurtland’s self-serve frozen yogurt shops, guests are welcomed by a bright, cheerful wall of sweet and tart yogurt flavors and a topping bar filled with healthful and indulgent options. Paying by the ounce, guests can choose among 16 yogurt flavors and more than 60 fruit and premium toppings to create their own delicious frozen treat and top it off their way. 

Since the opening of the first location in 2006, Yogurtland has been known for its smooth and creamy premium yogurt that combines authentic custom flavors, sourced from their original locations, for a delicious taste that’s also good for you. Naturally occurring calcium and Vitamin D make Yogurtland yogurt a healthful, refreshing treat. Fruit flavors are also fortified with Vitamin C. All of Yogurtland’s flavors meet the National Yogurt Association criteria for “live and active culture” for frozen yogurt and are produced in a kosher-certified facility. Yogurtland features non-fat, low-fat and no sugar added frozen yogurt flavors as well as non-dairy sorbets.
