Howl-o-ween Fun at Best Friends Pet Care This Halloween

Dogs of all sizes and breeds are invited to this one-of-a-kind Halloween costume party.

A dog costume party — words that may have the capacity to overwhelm optimized search engines across the country America — is coming to Carmichael this Halloween.

Tails will be wagging as Carmichael's Best Friends Pet Care holds its one-of-a-kind Howl-o-ween Party for its guest of honor: man’s best friend.

The party will include a costume contest, seasonal games, including bobbing for treats and howling at the moon are on the agenda. Dozens of canine kids, of all sizes and breeds, will be attending.

Store manager Julia Didway explains the party is free to current members as well as first-timers. Of course, sign-ups will be available to interested parties, but all guests can expect to leave with a party favor bag of treats and goodies for the favorite pooch.

The party also comes with a free photo of your pup in costume.

The dog boarding and pet care facility charges $25 for daily services.

Where: Best Friends Pet Care, 3633 Garfield Avenue, Carmichael
When: Halloween, Oct. 31 from 8 a.m. till 5 p.m.
What: Costume contest, games, prizes, party favors
Information: Julia Didway,  916-487-5221

I, too, miss the history quiz of a mystery location. Please bring it back.

I am curious as to why it is vacant and fenced off.

*gasp!!* Tacky chain link fence? There go the property values! Chain link fence aroundRead More vacant/undeveloped land is usually an indicator of some County ordinance to secure the land for public safety. I'd buy the land and for the pure entertainment factor put mock working oil pump jacks on the land. Just to see what people do. :-p

Thanks for the kind words Josh and for doing a good job of taking over Carmichael among other PatchRead More towns. I'll always remember promoting Patch around the area and the weird looks we/you got out at the multi-chamber mixer. Best of luck in Alaska and say hi to the eskimos for me.
