Fallen Soldier Attended Mira Loma HS
News 10: Spc. Manuel J. Vasquez went to Carmichael-area high school.
Spc. Manuel J. Vasquez, 22, of West Sacramento, died April 24 in Paktika province, Afghanistan, the U.S. Department of Defense announced.
Vasquez spent his childhood in West Sacramento and Citrus Heights, where he went to Mira Loma High School, News 10 reported.
He was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 28th Infantry Regiment, 172nd Infantry Brigade, Grafenwoehr, Germany, DOD officials announced.
