Chamber June Business Mixer Held at Citibank

Upcoming events include monthly luncheon, multi-chamber mixer, 4th of July parade.

Your Carmichael Chamber of Commerce members mixed, mingled, talked business, speed bumps, money, the Fair Oaks Boulevard corridor plan, concerts in the park and more last week at its monthly mixer.

Chamber administrator Linda Melody commented on the quality and range of the conversations and diversity of people. Gabrielle Peter, new branch manager for CitiBank at 4005 Manzanita Ave., hosted this lively gathering, taking just enough time to introduce her staff and some of the great banking programs she has for local businesses and residents.

Gabrielle turned it over to Linda for announcements about Doug Covill, president of the Sacramento Association of Realtors, speaking at the June 28 Chamber Luncheon (11:30 a.m. networking, noon lunch and speaker - open to the public tickets $20) and Community Shred Day coming Saturday (also open to the public $5 for a shopping bag and $10 for a bankers box - get rid of all those sensitive documents safely and keep your identity!).

Gabrielle had one of our new restaurants and her clients Shawarma (restaurant 6047 Madison Ave. near Home Depot) cater some tasty food including both Beef Suvlaki and Chicken Suvlaki both so popular he ran out! Important upcoming events include a June 29 Multi Chamber Mixer and the Elks 4th of July Parade.

My favorite promotion was Splash and Dash, who had special coupons to (finally) celebrate the end of the rainy season!

My favorite raffle prize was RD Williams, with PA Nursery, who donated a handmade birdhouse.
