The plan calls for making Carmichael's major roadway more friendly for pedestrians and bicyclists as well as motorists. Artist renderings show a modern, tree-lined street, a welcome change from the tired look of what some say is too many auto and thrift shops.

So how much of an inconvenience would you say the construction on Fair Oaks Blvd. has been? Let us know in a comment below.

Why are they spending so much on roads, what about spending money to open the pool, hello!!! I don't like all the sidewalk either, I think it is going to cause more delays and traffic on Fair Oaks as people don't have the "turnout" now.
