Sacramento Firm Wins Engineering Excellence Award

Sacramento, CA – CH2M HILL of Sacramento has received an Honor Award from the American Council of Engineering Companies of California (ACECCA) for their work on the Sankey Diversion Project in Nicolaus, CA.

CH2M HILL was contracted by the Natomas Mutual Water Company to provide the engineering and environmental services required to implement this innovative project—a new water intake on the Sacramento River, serving both agricultural and habitat needs, with massive fish screens to protect endangered green sturgeon, sensitive salmonids, and other aquatic resources. The successful project is result of CH2M HILL’s technical expertise and the public-private partnership between State and Federal funding agencies, regulatory agencies, a private owner, and CH2M HILL.

CH2M HILL will be honored at the 2014 EEA Banquet held on February 3 in Sacramento.  Registration:  ACECCA 2014 EEA Banquet Event
