Sacramento Sheriff’s deputies have called off a search for a parolee who fled on foot in the area of Marconi and Garfield Avenue in Carmichael, KCRA 3 is reporting.
Deputies said two men in an SUV were suspected of trying to break into an apartment Tuesday morning; when they were spotted, they tried to run, Fox 40 reported.
The passenger, who is on parole, was taken into custody but the driver, who is on probation, took off running, Fox 40 reported.
