Driver Remains in Critical Condition Following Winding Way Accident
The driver remains unresponsive at Mercy San Juan Hospital.
The 82-year-old driver who afternoon remains in critical condition, officials say.
The passenger inside the vehicle has told authorities the driver, whose identity has not been disclosed, lost consciousness shortly before his car collided with the pole, which caused power outages in the surrounding Winding Way neighborhoods for about 10 hours Wednesday.
The elderly pair were transported to Mercy San Juan for further treatment where they remain. Family members of the driver have been notified of his condition.
