Duo Arrested in Carmichael for Attempted Burglary

The two were arrested for attempted burglary, conspiracy to commit crimes, and petty theft.

Two people were arrested after a victim spotted a suspicious subject in his backyard in Carmichael and called police July 30. 

According to the Sacramento County Sheriff's Department, officers arrived on Maudray Way after a suspect set a house alarm off. They arrested 22-year-old Skie Dobrinski and 28-year-old Benjamin Wilhelm.

Officers allegedly found Wilhelm in possession of part of a solar-powered garden light, which was taken from the victim's front yard. Dobrinski's purse was found in a nearby vehicle, which had been ransacked; items were thrown around the vehicle and down the street, according to the police log. 

The two were arrested for attempted burglary, conspiracy to commit crimes, and petty theft.
