UPDATE: Elk Grove Police Locate 'At Risk' Elderly Woman

82-year-old Georgia Reese suffers from Alzheimer's, dementia and is a dialysis patient, according to the Elk Grove Police Department.

Friday Update:  Elk Grove police tell Patch that a woman reported missing Thursday has been located and is safe.

82-year-old Georgia Reese was located early Friday morning, according to police.  Details as to where she had been were not immediately released.

The following is a press release from the Elk Grove Police Department: 


The Elk Grove Police Department is asking for the community’s help in locating an at risk missing person, 82-year-old Georgia Reese (photo attached), who suffers from Alzheimer's, dementia and is a dialysis patient.   

 

Georgia Reese was last seen [Thursday] morning around 9:45 a.m. at a medical building located at 8139 Elk Grove Boulevard.  Reese drove to this location in a gold 1999 Toyota Camry bearing license plate number 8138WDP.  Georgia Reese left the location after being told that she did not have an appointment today.  Reese is described as an African-American female adult, 5’7”, 130 lbs., with black hair, brown eyes and glasses.  At this time, a description of the clothing Reese was wearing is not available.
