Missing Boy Last Seen in Carmichael

Sheriff's deputies need your help.

The Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department is seeking the public’s assistance in finding a boy who went missing from his residence in Carmichael on Monday night, Dep. Jason Ramos said.

Elijah Cowan, 11, was discovered missing shortly after 4 a.m. today from his apartment on the 2500 block of Gunn Road in Carmichael, according to a news release. Cowan is considered to be-at risk due to his age.

Cowan is a black male juvenile, 5’ tall and about 80 lbs. He has black, curly hair and may possibly be wearing a black jacket, according to the release. He is believed to be in the company of his sister, a 15 year-old white female juvenile who is 5’1” tall, about 110 lbs., with long, dark brown hair.

Anyone knowing the whereabouts of this missing boy is asked to call the Sheriff’s Department at (916) 874-5115.
