Suspicious Taco Bell Wrapper Led to Lockdown at Del Campo High

The lockdown has now been lifted.

OUTSIDE SACRAMENTO, CA -- A local high school was on lockdown Tuesday morning to investigate a suspicious package.

Del Campo High School in Fair Oaks went on lockdown just after 10 a.m. as Sacramento County Sheriff's deputies investigated the package, which turned out to be a Taco Bell wrapper.

They blasted the package with water and found a Taco Bell wrapper wrapped in duct tape, according to News 10

The package was found on the driveway at the school, News 10 reports

The lockdown was lifted shortly after.

On Twitter, San Juan Unified informed followers of the lockdown: @SanJuanUnified: Lockdown at Del Campo HS lifted as deputies blast package with water cannon. Turned out to be @TacoBell.
