Bera Campaign to Hold Voter Rally in Carmichael Saturday

The Democratic Congressional nominee will be speaking with supporters before going door to door in the community.

Elk Grove native and District 7 Congressional nominee Ami Bera will take to the streets of Carmichael Saturday, Nov. 3 rallying supporters in an effort to get out the vote.

According to a release put out by the Bera campaign, the nominee in the hotly contested congressional district will be speaking with supporters at the California Democratic Party Office located at 4132 Manzanita Ave., suite 600 in Carmichael.

The Sacramento Bee recently endorsed Bera after supporting Lungren in the 2010 election, stating, "Lungren has failed to meet local expectations. Even worse, Lungren has voted on a litany of bad bills to block the president's economic stimulus, roll back environmental protections, repeal health care reform and limit women's reproductive choices... [H]e has far too often taken positions that are out of step with his district."
