Boys Basketball Playoffs: Broncos Dismantle Wolfpack, Sac Waldorf Moves On

Broncos, Waves win Friday.

Two Fair Oaks schools won Friday in the CIF Sac-Joaquin Section boys’ basketball playoffs.

In Division II,  won big over Cosumnes Oaks of Elk Grove 83-48 behind 17 points from KJ Logue.

"KJ was an impact player and (Cosumnes Oaks) couldn't compete in the paint," said Bella Vista coach Dave Gonzalez. "They had no answer for our bench- it was too deep; we really outplayed them."

The Broncos now head to Wednesday's semifinals at Power Balance Pavilion where they will face Antelope.

In Division V,  beat Elliot Christian of Lodi 54-44 thanks to another strong showing from Christopher Schwartz-Edmisten, who finished with 30 points.

The Waves now are in the semifinals on Wednesday at Galt High School against  of Rosemont.
