El Camino Baseball Makes Section Title Game Debut

Eagles in championship for first time in school history.

The team is headed to the first CIF Sac-Joaquin Section championship game in school history following a 5-1 win Wednesday over Yuba City, school officials reported.

The Eagles eliminated the four-time D-III champion Honkers at McAuliffe Ballpark at Sacramento State, The Sacramento Bee reported.

El Camino was led by seniors who went 2-for-3 with a double, triple, 2 RBI and 2 runs and pitcher Mike Frantz who pitched a complete game with six strikeouts, Jimmy Graben wrote on .
