El Camino HS Musicians Receive High Marks at Music Festival
Golden Empire Music Festival held last month.

Scores of musicians from received praise for their performances during the March 17 Golden Empire Music Festival, an annual event that showcases student talent.
El Camino’s symphonic band earned “superior” marks for its work at the event, held at California State University, Sacramento and hosted by the Capitol Section of the California Music Educators’ Association.
The El Camino concert band and madrigal choir both received “excellent” ratings, and the concert choir received a “good” rating from festival judges.
