Nominate Your Favorite Lunch Professional for National Recognition

Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine's is looking for nominations from you in order to commend local schools with healthy school lunch programs.

Does the San Juan School District deserve national attention? Nominations are being accepted for a chance to win $3,000 dollars.

Each year, as part of the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine’s (PCRM) Healthy School Lunches ProgramPCRM presents the Golden Carrot Awards to food service professionals who have developed and implemented a healthful and successful school lunch program. This award recognizes food service programs that offer school children a range of healthful options, especially a variety of vegetarian foods and nondairy calcium-rich beverage choices.

To nominate school food service professionals and their school lunch programs for the Golden Carrot Awards, complete the nomination form and submit it to PCRM by August 15, 2013. Self-nominations are accepted and encouraged.
