Eleanor Brown, Estelle Lemieux seek Area 4 seat representing Carmichael, Fair Oaks.
Two candidates are in the race for the Sacramento County Board of Education representing parts of Carmichael and Fair Oaks, The Sacramento Bee reported.
Eleanor Brown was appointed in December 2010 to complete the Area 4 term of trustee Victoria Dane, who moved out of the county, The Bee reported. A retired teacher and principal who lives in Fair Oaks, Brown worked in the for 35 years.
Brown's challenger, Estelle Lemieux, is an education consultant, The Bee reported.
