Carmichael Library Closed Tuesday, Wednesday
Furlough day Tuesday and holiday Wednesday.
The will be closed for two days this week, Sacramento Public Library officials announced.
Due to funding reductions from both the County and City of Sacramento, staff will be furloughed without pay and all Sacramento Public Libraries will be closed to the public on Tuesday, according to a library news release.
Also, all Sacramento Public Library locations will be closed Wednesday for the Independence Day holiday observance.

Library telephone services will also be unavailable on these dates; however, the library’s website (www.saclibrary.org) is available 24/7 to request and renew materials, pay overdue fines, download eBooks and apply for a library card, according to the release.
