Yoga in Old Fair Oaks Library Monday Evening

Space is available for those looking for a good stretch after the work day.

If you haven't heard, it's Monday. Yes, sorry to be the bearer of seemingly unfortunate news. However, there may be repreive for those looking for a way to unwind after a long day at work.

Beginning at 5:30 p.m. in the Old Fair Oaks Library at 4200 Temescal Street join the rest of the crowd for a relaxing series of stretches geared toward releasing tension.

The six-week course costs $63, which works out to about $10 per class. Each class will focus on postures that gently firm and strengthen core muscles, improving function. Course instructors expect participants to experience greater ease of movement, increased sense of well-being and deeper, more restful sleep. Each student is encouraged to work at his or her own ability level.

Classes are every Monday from 5:30 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. till July 30. This class, over time, is intended to develop the ability to release muscle tension.
