Boos Voni Tortas & Taqueria

<p>Boos Voni Tortas & Taqueria is the second Boos Voni location, the first is on Mission Street in San Francisco.   Ivan Monjardin the personable manager and head chef put traditional Mexican foods on the menu and  then added a wide selection of tortas, a sandwich that originated with street vendors in Mexico City.   An authentic variety of meats is served from pollo asada to seafood, chorizo, carnitas, and the more unusual offerings of tripe, cheek beef, tongue and pig stomach.   Boos Voni is a quick, casual and economical eatery and offers daily specials in addition to the extensive menu like house tamales, pozole, menudo or the Alambon torta made with chorizo, ham, and cheese dipped in a Cuban style sauce.   </p> <p> </p>
